Isaac was born on the 4th January 1981, the son of Isaac Craig (Senior Inspector of Schools) and Henrietta Craig, of "Redclyffe," Western Rd, Athlone Cork.
Isaac entered Campbell College in September 1905 where he was a member of the rugby 1st XV and the cricket 1st XI during 1908-1909. He is buried in Ramleh War Cemetery, Israel, Grave T29.
