Kenneth was born 29 September 1881, the son of Henry Agnew, of 8 Windsor Gardens, Belfast. He entered CCB in September 1894.

During the Great War Kenneth served as a private with the 1st Battalion, Royal Irish Rifles. He died as a British prisoner of war in Germany on 25 June 1918 and is commemorated in Hamburg War Cemetery.
